Tytan is pretty funny!!! When he eats - he usually will enjoy it for a while then start playing with it - which means it ends up all over the floor and on top of his head! =) Pretty much everything will sooner or later end up being put on his head...it's SO DANG CUTE!!! LOVE THIS BOY!!!! =)

Q surely did turn 3 yes THREE - I know I can't believe it either but it's true and it's exciting and kinda pulls at my heart strings all at the same time...HOW IN THE WORLD has three years already flown by and my baby become a "big girl"!!! Anyhoo - we had her birthday and everyone that was up staying at the cabin for new year's surely did come over - so it was an awesome, fun, lots of people part!! It was great and Q had LOTS of fun!!! Grammy didn't disappoint once again with the fabulous cake...this year it was all about Dora since Q LOVES LOVES LOVES her...and the cake was freak'n awesome - as always!! =) Thank you Vicki!! Q got some awesome gifts from everyone...THANK YOU!!! Vicki's camera was doing some crazy things...but hey it made for a neat little pic right!!! good times!Q had SUCH a good time!!She gets SO excited when "Dora Calls" It's so cute!She is a DOLL!!!Tytan just enjoying the party =)Q loves her little table...sometimes even when we are all eating at the normal table she insists on sitting at her table...she really wants Chubby to sit with her but i'm not so sure the chairs would be sturdy enough for his little chair so I haven't even attempted that =) Other times I just have to sit with her at her table when we eat...LOVE THIS GIRL!!!!

SLEDDING!

So the snow was FABULOUS this winter so we surely did take advantage and go sledding!!! There is a huge sledding area in town that EVERYONE goes to so we took the kids one day - it was great!! Qwynci LOVED it - B took her up the hill and after the first time down she was hooked!!! She would just laugh and laugh it was GREAT!! Tytan had a good time eating the snow and watching and taking a few trips down the hill!!! Q didn't want B to let go of the sled when he said she could go on her own...but after he did she was ALL SMILES!!! LOVE THIS GIRL!!!! She is such a blast!!! Tytan was taken care of SO well by Q - she is such a FABULOUS big sis!!!
Then that weekend B had to work on New Year's Eve so the kids and I headed to the cabin to hang with the fam...Connor and Josh were sledding and Q wanted to join in the fun so I took her out and we went down once on the sled but Connor and Josh were just sliding down on their bums so that's what Q wanted to do - Then they were going down on their tummies and I kept asking Q if she wanted to and she didn't...finally at the end she was going down on her tummy and LOVING it!! It was SO cute watching Connor and Josh with her...they were so sweet and kind and patient with her - they would help her back up the hill and put her in the right place so she could sled faster - SUCH AWESOME COUSINS!!! =) Tytan missed out on the sledding at the cabin...he was taking a much needed nap =)

Christmas!

So Christmas was FABULOUS as always!!! We went to Safford the weekend before Christmas for my mom's "Family Christmas Togetherness" and Vicki wanted to do Christmas early this year so we had the "Decker Christmas" that weekend too - worked out GREAT!!! So Friday night we went to B's parents and had dinner and then opened presents and stockings and stuff - VERY FUN!!! The kids had a blast...I was feeling wretched with a horrid soar throat so I pretty much was useless and laid on the couch...but everyone seemed to have a fabulous time and the kids made out like bandits (as they ALWAYS seem to do....thanks Grammy and Pops)...not very many pics due to the laying on the couch being useless...went to the Dr. when we got back to Show Low and I surely did have strep...ya it was HORRID!!! Thank HEAVENS for penicillin shots!!!!! =)Tytan had fun tearing the paper off the toys =)and Q TOTALLY understood the "getting presents" concept and was LOVING every minute of it!!! =)Then Saturday night we had dinner and the kids acted out the Nativity...
Tytan was pretty excited about the Nativity =) Could he be any cuter!!! =)Q was Mary and she was TOTALLY adorable!!! She's a doll!!What a good little "Mother Mary" she was =)Christmas Eve was pretty low key compared to years before...dinner as usual and then we go and watch the live nativity in Thatcher - it's really cool!! Tytan and Q were having a good times pushing and riding around on this toy!!!Christmas morning was AWESOME!!! Q walked in and saw everything and said "HOWY MOWY....OH MY GOSSS!" (holy moly oh my gosh) it was so dang funny!!! She got pretty excited about her beauty station...Tytan played and played and played with his piano...LOVED IT!Stocking time...yes B insisted on buying this Santa hat the day before =)Tytan just helping Gpa open some presents...Getting my hair beautified by Q =)Tytan having a good time with all the wrapping paper...Q FINALLY opening her dresses!!! So as usual I went a LITTLE overboard with Christmas this year and...well...Q got TIRED of opening presents and I didn't want to MAKE her so it took all day and into the evening to finally get everything opened...I was OH so excited to watch her open this box of dresses though since that's all she had said she wanted was "high heels and dresses" =) and boy did she get a TON!!! =)TOO CUTE!Yes there were dresses EVERYWHERE!!!Jaycie helping Tytan so he could get all his presents open before bedtime =)

Temple Lights!

So we went to Mesa to see the Christmas Temple lights...and so B could go to a football game with his Dad...all good times!! Tytan was TOTALLY hungry Sunday night so I gave him a roll and he destroyed the whole thing...it was a HUGE funny mess =) He is such a little HAM!Qwynci was having SUCH a good time with the guitar...it's true - she IS a ROCK STAR!She was using it as her microphone too...impressive! =)The Temple lights were gorgeous as always - so fun...I love going their during Christmas - there was WAY more people this time then when we had gone before so we didn't go inside the visitors center and see all the nativities...but there is always next year!!! The kids had a good time!!!

So Q ALWAYS wants to sit by Tytan...I would put him in his chair - go to grab something and when I come back she will have moved her seat right next to him...it's really pretty dang cute!!! And pretty convenient for her cuz she would just give him most of her food that she didn't want to eat and he would down it with the rest of his food!! It was a win win for everyone =) They are just TOO fun!!

Q singing Christmas Songs!

Q LOVED Christmas songs this year - it was really fun!!! She would sing Up on the Housetop, Jolly O'l Saint Nicholas, and Angels We Have Heard on High....which was SO fun cuz she would just keep singing the chorus over and over again till you finally just clapped and let her know it was the end =) SO FUN!!!! She is THE BEST!!!

Tytan is WALKING!!!

So for the past month or so Tytan has been taking a few steps here and there and at the beginning of January he started taking more and more steps but it was just kind of a casual "whatever" kinda way - he wasn't totally going for it and when he would try and go for it - he would totally eat it! You could tell he just wanted to take off after Qwynci though...well on Thursday it's like something clicked and he decided he was going to walk!!! He just kept pulling himself up on everything and walking to the next thing he could find to balance on...Then today he started standing up on his own and walking around everywhere - SO AWESOME!!! I'm so excited for him and the fun that him and Q are going to have chasing each other around...but it's also kind of bitter-sweet...my baby is walking and that's like the end of the "baby major points"...you know - sitting, crawling, WALKING!!! Sure there is still talking and EVERYTHING else he will still learn...that Q is still learning...but it's just a weird feeling. So excited though!! And it's WAY cute to watch him walk - his little "old man march" LOVE HIM!!! Can't believe he is growing up so fast!!!!

So I was trying to get Tytan to take a nap which wasn't going very well - then B opened his door and needed to come in and get something out of his room which meant Q was following him and they had their snow stuff on so them walking was very loud and Tytan looked up at them and when they walked out the door he totally started crying and would NOT STOP!!!! So I gave up and decided all he really wanted to do was go play with them...and I was right - we went out and he stood by the door for a while and watched them sled in the back then I got all his stuff on him and they got to sled together - it was TOTALLY adorable to watch them!! TOO FUN!!!! I'm so glad they like each other - hopefully they will stay good friends FOREVER!!! LOVE THEM!!!

Santa come to the Fire Dept.

So Santa came to the fire Dept on December 7th and Q was pretty dang excited - she totally got the hang of Santa and all that this year so it was really fun!!! When we got there Chief Chevy brought his new little puppy and Q LOVED her...she sat and pet it FOREVER - then it was time to tell Santa what she wanted "dresses and high heels, and a onesie for brother" so adorable!!! LOVE HER! Tytan even sat on Santa's lap...didn't last long...but got a cute pic =) LOVE HIM!

Christmas Light Parade!

So we went to the Christmas Light Parade and it was SO freezing but still fun!! We got a good parking spot and just sat in the back of the car to stay out of the snow...the kids had fun and Q really liked all the lights and was so excited to see Santa - but by the time the end of the parade came...the fire truck totally sped by us trying to catch up to the rest of the parade so she didn't really get to see Santa...but all the lights kept her happy =) Tytan just played and didn't really care what was going on =)

TONS of snow!

So at the beginning of December we had a HUGE snow storm and got like 2 feet of snow and it was awesome! Q LOVED it and B built up a fun little sledding hill in the front yard - she had so much fun!!! Could she be any more adorable!!! - there aren't any pictures of Tytan joining in on the fun cuz he was taking a nap at the moment.
So Brandon making noise in the background is him and the neighbor launching snowballs at each other - it was pretty entertaining!

Getting ready for Christmas...

For Christmas we had a candle that Q got to burn down every night and we also got a little advent house so she got to open a little ornament every night...AND my aunt had sent us an advent calendar that had chocolate in it...so every night she got a piece of chocolate too - so ya - when it started getting dark Q would get pretty excited for all the nightly events =) I just thought this was too cute - B and Tytan putting the tree up = and the look on Q's face is pretty priceless too =) Good times!!!!!!

Tytan's 9 month appointment

So November 30th we went in for Tytan's 9 month appointment...and he is basically doing awesome in every way =)
Height: 27.5 inches
Weight: 19lbs 11oz
Head: 46 cm (yes his head is doing very well on the o'l charts) =)
He did great - didn't like being weighed...must get that from me =) AHAHAHA but sat and played till the doc came in - did fabulous while she checked him out...then just cried a tiny bit after his shots...he is amazing!! Such a tough guy!! =) LOVE HIM!

Q wanted earrings

Thanksgiving In Colorado!

So we surely did drive up to Colorado for Thanksgiving this year and it was really fun...the drive was VERY long and I told B that next time I think we will make it a two day trip - just so it's easier on the kids - but while we were there it was a really fun time!!! And all in all the kids really did do great on the drive - Tytan got frustrated being in his seat a few times...but Q would watch Dora all day if she could - and that's pretty much what she got to do - so she was happy =) Here are a few highlights of the trip...
Gma Decker gave Q a basket to carry Simba around in and Q was oh so happy cuz simba had a "car seat"Gpa Decker played with TytanWhile Vicki was decorating the cake - Q was taking lessons and decorating a plate...she was pretty excited about the whole thing =)Tytan ate and spilled LOTS of fishes...pretty sure I vacuumed the living room everyday we were there due to there being fishes everywhere =) Good times!Tytan got into all of Gma's books - he LOVED to take them off her little table...too cute!Q kept this little lamb in a clean diaper the whole time we were there - it was really cute and funny to watch!We ate LOTS of FABULOUS food (thanks Gma Jan) and Tytan discovered ginger snaps =)Aunt Gay read to Q...Tytan posed for MANY picsThe kids took group pics with Pops...Just the cousinsWith Aunt GayAnd with GrammyLove this sweet girl - honestly...can't imagine how boring life would be without her!!!!Tytan got some quality Daddy time =)Q showed everyone how old she was going to be on "December thirty first"Q gave Kyler lots of squeezes Tytan was loved and put to sleep by PopsMore than once =)Christy was OH so much fun to play with...Q fed KylerTytan hung out while every watched footballQ got stuck while playing next to the rose bushes...her dress got stuck on the thorns!Daddy to the rescue =)We played outside pulling each other back and forth in the yard...Q LOVED IT!Q watched all the craziness...Q tried pulling Brandon...good times!Then Tytan joined in the fun =)Daddy and Q had a wrestling match...Which always turns into a tickle fest!More play time with ChristyFamily picture timeMore squeezing Kyler =)Tytan showing off his awesome teeth...while we were in colorado he was cutting one of his top fang teeth - so he was pretty uncomfortable...but he did GREAT!Q curled Grammy's hair...how pretty! =)Q had fun wearing the "brown makeup" and laughing as hard as she could when all the adults started laughing...it was pretty funny!! Tytan LOVES to climb on the bathtub!

So one of Tytan's favorite places to play is on this step where he can turn on the water - it's pretty interesting...he turns on the hot water and usually falls off the step - I now put pillows down cuz he was landing face first on the tile =( poor little guy!!! He also fell right on the corner of the step and had bruises from that too!!! For a couple weeks there he was looking pretty rough...but with the pillows down now his head is looking much better =)

So ever since B and I got married I have been hearing about ALL these hotwheels that he had collected when he was little and whatnot - so in my mind I was like whatever - i'm sure there's a few right - um no there is a freak'n TUB FULL!!!!!!! It's pretty amazing!!! So we got them out of the attic cuz some of them aren't in boxes and Tytan needs something else to play with besides Q's purses =) It was so funny to watch B once they were down...when the kids would try and get into the box he was TOTALLY over protective of these hotwheels and didn't really want them to touch them - it was pretty entertaining to watch!!! =) All the cars are pretty cool and even Q really likes playing cars - GOOD TIMES!!! =)

So any time I get the coupons out or even mention coupons...Q gets SO excited and wants to "cut coupons" with me...it's pretty cute!!! She gets her little scissors and starts looking at the pictures on all the stuff and starts making a list...it's pretty entertaining to watch and to listen to =) I was recently cleaning out a BUNCH of old coupons and she was SO excited to get to play with all of them =)Tytan was just excited to play in the mess of all the coupons =)

Q really wanted to feed Tytan his bottle before dance the other day - trying to get him to lay with her was pretty entertaining!!! I think it's awesome that she loves him so much and I totally adore the fact that every morning and pretty much after every nap he gets SO excited to see Q - honestly he can be kind of fussing but once we walk in the room where she is, he just lights up...and she will usually say "There's my chubby chunky" and get so excited to see him. It's the BEST!!

The other night I was putting clothes away in Tytan's room and I turned on the projector toy for Tytan to play with...Q kept turning off the light so she could see it on the wall and then she got a blanket and was trying to put in on the wall and told me she needed some clips so she could hang it on the wall...I told her clips wouldn't work - but that we could tape it up. When I asked her why she wanted it on the wall she said she wanted it like Grandpa's sheet that's up at the cabin that you watch movies on. It was pretty dang cute!! LOVE THIS GIRL!!!

So once again for Halloween we went to Mesa and did trunk-or-treat with Chad's family and Oz on Friday night and it was tons of fun! Q was the cutest little Minney Mouse you've ever seen...And Tytan was an adorable giraffe!He woke up from his nap pretty dang fussy but after being stuffed with all kinds off goodness - he was SUCH a happy little guy for the rest of the night! =)CUTE!The kids!Monday night we went to Chad's neighborhood party and it was tons of fun too!They had bounce houses for the kids to play in and Tytan and Q were loving them!There was a HUGE bounce house that Brynli took Q over to and when anyone would come down the slide she would yell at them and tell that "THIS IS MY COUSIN, HER NAME IS QWYNCI" - it was too funny!!! Good look'n out Brynli!! =)Q LOVES to play with Brynli...they were having so much fun!Happy boy!Um, yes they are the cutest kids ever! =)

B is building a shed to put all the dang toys in that are starting to take over the garage - Q thinks he is building her a new castle - it's pretty funny!!! If you ask her what Daddy's doing she will tell you that he is working on her new castle - I guess when the only thing you've ever seen your Dad make is a castle bed - you'd just assume that's what he is making anytime he is working on a project. LOVE HER!!
So B was having me help him and told me to just use the nail gun and nail the boards together - so I was doing exactly what I was told and then I went inside to check on the kids - he came in and asked me to help him move something and had me grab the piece I had just nailed...but it wouldn't budge - I surely had nailed it to the floor!!! AHAHAHA Pry i'm not the best helper! =) He found it pretty entertaining!

The benedryl finally works!

So when Q was little (not that she is that big now) someone told me to giver her some benedryl and that it would make her tired and blah blah blah - ya well that was a big load of you know what - not this girl...NOTHING makes her go to sleep!!! =) But the other day she had a runny nose and just wasn't feeling so great so I gave her some benedryl and she was sitting on the couch watching a movie while I exercised and she told me she was tired so I told her it was ok if she wanted to close her eyes and TA-DAH - this is what happened...she surely did conk right out!!! WHO KNEW - the dang medicine finally did what it was suppose for these last few years!! =) IS she not the cutest little thing you've EVER SEEN!!!! =)

Q gets a pink hair extension

So one of the salons was having a pink hair extension deal going on for the month of October to help "save the boobies" so I surely did take Q down and she got a fun pink extension put in her hair...it was SO SO cute!!! But it only lasted like 3 days and then one night when she was taking her shirt off...the extension came out along with a chunk of her hair!! =( Poor thing!! I thought about going back and having them put it back in...but decided that she really didn't have a lot of hair to begin with so i better not do anything that will make any more fall out!!! It sure was cute though!!! =)

Carving Pumpkins

So we carved the pumpkins we got at the pumpkin patch...the kids liked playing in all the messiness and B was oh so excited to carve something fun so he printed off a Mickey Mouse pattern and started working on it and it was taking a while so me and the kids were outside playing and B came out and said that after all that work on his last cut he cut the whole thing and the face fell in!! AHAHAHA good times huh?!?! So the other pumpkin just got a funny scary face and that was that! =) Then after the 1st day of being outside they were pretty much all sunk in from the sun - oh well - the kids had fun and it was good times! =)

Corn Maze & Pumpkin Patch

So we went to the pumpkin patch and the corn maze over in Taylor before Halloween and it was SO fun!! The corn maze was good times!!! Q was pretty impressed with all the corn and we had a good time trying to figure our way around!! Q was holding the corn and playing with it and Matt told her to hold it up for the picture...so she did =) AHAHAHAGood thing Q didn't realize this guy was suppose to be scary =)Tytan was SO good the entire time!Pops ended up with the blanky, the paci, the toy and one of the kids...what a trooper =)Some of the pumpkins were pretty dang huge!!So Q is a HUGE fan of dill pickle sunflower seeds and B had some while we were walking around and Q was putting them in her pocket but then she couldn't get them out - so she needed some assistance =)To keep Tytan happy we gave him a sucker with the wrapper on...but after sucking on it for so long he was getting the actual sucker and drooling sticky goodness EVERYWHERE!!! he was covered in sticky!!

Q rides her trike ALL BY HERSELF!!

So about a month ago Q was wanting to ride her bike and it had a little handle thing so I could push her and stuff but then she wouldn't do it herself...so I just took the handle off and went outside and cheered her on as she tried to figure it out and she TOTALLY DID IT and was GREAT!!! She ROCKED it her first time trying and she is a total pro now - it's TOO CUTE!!!! Such a big girl!!!! LOVE HER!

Tytan is Crawling

So 2 Sundays ago we were outside and Tytan started to crawl on the cement (random I know) so I was all excited...but when we got inside he went back to the army crawl...well now he is a pro at crawling - he goes around everywhere and pulls himself up!! It's SO cute! He looks like a little bulldog when he crawls - LOVE HIM!!!!

While I am SO not a fan of teething...i LOVE their cute little teeth once they come in!! =) He seems to be doing a little better - there have been a few nights where he has only gotten up once or twice and I'm thinking he must not be in as much pain anymore because he is much more pleasant like he used to be (thank heavens) so I think sanity should be returning to my life soon (hopefully) =) He is pretty much the cutest little guy EVER! =)

Tytan is army crawling!

For the last couple of weeks Tytan has been army crawling and lately he has gotten really good at it =) this video doesn't do it justice cuz he wasn't really going as fast as he usually goes - but you get the point =) He gets up on his hands and knees now and crawls normal for like 2 seconds then plops down on his belly and takes off doing the army crawl! =) He has also started pulling himself up on things and trying to stand - it's so fun to watch him try new things - I can't believe he is getting SO BIG!!!! It's no secret Q is kind of a freak about shoes - any kind of shoe =) Lately she has had some funny "shoe" times...
So I gave in and got the high heels i'm hiding for Christmas down to give Q a pair...she was pretty excited and was dancing around and asked where I got them from (which she always asks) and I told her Marshall's - and tried to explain that Marshall's is a store - and that she also has an Uncle Marshall and I thought she understood it...then she walked into the living room and B asked her where she got those pretty high heels...and she said "Uncle Marshall" then she paused and said "THANKS Uncle Marshall" it was too cute and too funny!!!!!

I had Q and Tytan in the tub and B got a flight so he got his gear on and came into the bathroom to tell them goodbye and he tells Q he is going to ride on the airplane and she looks at his uniform...then leans forward to see what shoes he has on. To get the full effect you would have had to see her face and the serious way she was making sure he had on the right shoes...it was TOO funny!!!

The other night I was telling Q that Saturday we are going to go to the corn maze when it gets dark and that it was going to be so fun and blah blah blah - she looks at me and asks "what shoes am I going to wear"

Resting at the Cabin

After B's surgery we decided to go hang with my parents at the cabin so B could rest and me and the kids could play =) It was really fun!!!
We roasted marshmallows - apparently this marshmallow is SO yummy!Q was having so much fun!She is the cutest thing ever!Q got in this feather bed bag - it was just funny! =)

So we decided to make a key lime pie and as we were making it the lights went out so B wore this light on his head so he could see what he was doing - too funny! GOOD TIMES!

Tytan NEVER holds still (he is taking after his sister more and more everyday) =) - so trying to dress him is pretty interesting and my mom got a feel for what it was like when she was putting on his jammies...she finally put his socks on his hands to entertain him and he seemed to really like it! He is just TOO CUTE!

Lake Trip

We went to the lake a couple weekends ago and it was really fun - haven't been able to do that as much as we would have like this summer =( But the weather was awesome when we went and we had a GREAT time so hoorah for that!!! Tytan kept trying to reach over the towel and get the rocks to eat...good times!!Q was in heaven playing in the mud and with all the beach toys Grammy broughtQ had NO desire to ride the jet skis but B made her go on it with him and that was the end of that - one trip and she was good =) The jet skis ran really good and it was fun having them there - was like old times! =)That sun just wears you out =)So this dodge duli (spelling??) drove up next to our camp and got stuck, so Matt took his ford over there and pulled him out and in the process he got stuck himself...so leave it to the good o'l CHEVY to pull the ford out - it was just too funny all the trucks in a row =) HOORAH FOR CHEVY TRUCKS =) AHAHAHAHAQ was LOVING the mud -she is just too cute!!!!

I decided that Q and I needed some me and her time so we went to get a pedi...it was pretty fun - Q stood (and played) in the water while we soaked our feet...and while we waited I painted her fingernails and then after they did my pedi they painted her toenails too - she was pretty excited...then the guy picked her up and put her under the little light dryer thing...she thought she was pretty hot stuff...GOOD TIMES!! =) She is SUCH a fun little thing!! Looking for Brandon's Trail Cam

So B put a trail cam up and then the big fire happened over by big lake so we haven't been able to get over there and see if the cam was still there...but the other day we went to check it out and we surely didn't find it =( where he had put it was TOTALLY burned...so ya - no more trail cam...guess I know what to get him for Christmas huh!! =)
Q was being SUCH a fabulous big sister in the back with Chubba...she even held his bottle for him...it was pretty cute. And yes, Tytan is drinking out of a pink bottle cuz the blue bottles were all dirty and we were in a rush =(

Q and Tytan took turns driving...Q tried to follow the line but she was ALL OVER THE ROAD!! Tytan was just excited to kick the steering wheel =)

Tytan's 6 month shots

So we went in for Tytan's 6 month shots - at 7 months old =) And he did GREAT!!!! I was so impressed! The doc asked if there were any concerns that I had and I let her know that I wanted my perfect baby back - all this crying and not sleeping was just not working out for either of us! =) She looked him over and he is perfect =) HOORAH!!! His latest stats are...
Height: 26.5 inches
Weight: 16.7 lbs
He did so great with the shots - didn't even cry - what a tough guy huh?!?!? The chick came in and started giving him the oral stuff and when that was done I started telling Tytan that it was gonna hurt just a little but it was ok - and in the middle of my pep talk the shots were done - this girl was SO good and fast!!! LOVED HER!!! Tytan whimpered just a minute and then was fine!! I was so impressed!!! =)
I was so sad about his weight - I thought he was around 18 pounds and was getting so dang close to the 20lb limit so I can turn him around in the car seat - guess we'll have to wait for a while...or I might just have to turn him around anyway so that rides in the car can be more peaceful =)
He is still such a fun baby - obviously his teeth hurt so he cries and fusses a LOT and doesn't sleep like he used to - naps are like 30 minutes rather than 2-3 hours and he's up 3 or 4 times a night...sure do miss the 7 hour stretches =) Oh well - hopefully his teeth will come in quickly and we can move on from all this craziness!! His first little front bottom tooth is so cute!! When he smiles it totally shows, love it! And he cut the one right next to it the other day - him and Q cut the same teeth first - good times!!! He is a really good eater - whatever you put in front of him he pretty much downs and wants more - it's fun!! LOVE HIM!!!

No More Appendix for Brandon

So last Sunday B got a flight and his stomach started hurting but he just figured he had eaten too fast...but then pain didn't go away. So he goes to work on Monday then comes home around noon and said his stomach was hurting pretty bad and that he was going to lay down for a little bit and would pry need to go see the Dr. - i was kinda like WHAT??? Ya B NEVER stays home from work cuz he's sick and he NEVER EVER goes to the Dr. so I figured something was really wrong for him to say he would pry need to see the o'l Dr. So after laying on the couch the rest of the day he decides to go to urgent care right before they close. They took a look at him for about 10 seconds and told him he needed to go to the E.R. So B calls and tells me he is headed there so I call Allison and Lilly comes to watch the kids for a bit (thank HEAVENS for great neighbors huh?!?!?!) At the E.R. they do some blood work and it all comes back fine then they do a scan and his appendix is obviously the problem...so they schedule surgery for the next morning at 6am. I went home so Lilly could go back home and called ShaDean to see if she could stay the night with the kids so I could stay with B. She was more than willing (hoorah for great babysitters) so around 545 they come to get B to prep him for surgery but then they get a call and someone from the E.R. had to be rushed into surgery so B's got pushed back...which worked out cuz that gave us time to call our home teacher and Craner to give B a blessing (funny how things work out huh??) SO grateful for the priesthood!!! So Oz comes up (so grateful for an amazing sister and family) to take on the kiddos so ShaDean could go home and I could stay with B - who knew juggling kids could be such craziness =) So we were waiting in the pre-op room and B says he overheard someone say that Chance was working that day...but the nurse the night before said Chance wasn't going to be working the next day - so I text him and like 5 seconds later he walks in and is looking at the board and then looks around and sees us waiting in the room...so he comes in and tells us that he is just the floater for the day but he'll make sure we get a good anesthesiologist...then comes back all dressed for surgery and says that our guy looked tired so he is taking it for him =) SO grateful that everything seemed to just kinda go into place and SO grateful that Chance was able to be there and make us feel more comfortable and whatnot!! So B goes in and then everything is done in like 45 minutes...and then he was good to go home after surgery...if he could stay awake they would have sent him home right away but it took FOREVER for that stuff to wear off...it was pretty funny, the nurse would come in and start talking to B and he would fall back asleep in the middle of the convo - the nurse would just look at me and I would smile - good times!!! So after a few hours we came home and Oz was there with the kids and everything went smooth. What a blessing that everything happened so quick and that there were no complications!!! B had his follow-up appointment today and everything looks great!!!

Matching Earrings

So Q HAS to have things matching...shoes have to match the outfit and bow has to match too - pretty sure I am to blame for this obsessiveness =) Anyhoo - the other night she surely had matching earrings for her jammies...at that point I realized we may be taking the matching situation a little too far! =) But she sure did look adorable with her froggy earrings and her froggy jammies!! =)

Too Much Barney?

So Q has never been a TV watcher - but she did become a fan of Barney - even though I SWORE my kids would NEVER watch that dang dinosaur...anyhoo - she will watch the same Barney over and over again in the car - and if I want a moment of alone time while I take a shower I put Barney on and it keeps her attention for about 5 minutes then she is in chatting it up with me while i shower - good times!! =) Last night she wanted to watch it before she went to bed so after I put Tytan down I sat down with her and she asks "Will I grow a tail when I get older" at first I was like what in the world is she talking about - then I realized...she thinks she will grow a tail like those dinosaurs AHAHAHAHAHA...Maybe i should try and get her to watch cartoons that are all about real people =) GOOD TIMES!!!

B's working a ton...so we went to Gma's house

So B surely did work 5 days straight, so 120 hours, JEEZE...well 4 days at the FD and then was on call for the flight medic stuff - ya so the kids and I went to gma's house for a few days! It was good times! We got to visit with friends and hang out with the G's! We gave Tytan a slim jim to gnaw on and he loved it - we had to laugh though cuz he looked like he had a cigar in his mouth!! Too funny!!!While I was trying to get everything packed and ready to head back home...Q was entertaining herself in the mud - GOOD TIMES! =)More high heel drama...pretty sure it's never ending!! =) So Q had been fine with the non matching high heels and wore them pretty much all the time...she was excited telling Gma something and started to jump up and down and BAM the shoe busted in half - pretty sure if my mom and i hadn't started laughing so hard Q would have had a melt down - but since we were laughing she just kinda laughed with a confused look on her face...then wanted it fixed. So Gma super glued it and Gpa duct taped it...but the break is right at the point where her foot puts all the pressure so it just doesn't work for her!! So we have been to two dollar stores looking for more and haven't had any luck - we'll have to try a third store tomorrow...pretty sure this poor girl is just lost without these shoes - she won't wear her dresses without them!!!!

Tytan REALLY likes straws and fishes

Our sweet little easy going boy has discovered his temper and it's pretty interesting!!! He will start to cry and you'd think something was wrong with him till you go pick him up then he's fine...and when I put him in his chair to eat he will start to cry until i put some straws or fishes or anything he can grab and stuff in his mouth on the tray...then he is fine...and when he runs out...it starts all over again!!! Who knew he was going to have such a quick little temper - YIKES!!!! Anyhoo - he LOVES straws and it's pretty funny to watch him gnaw on them for a while - and we recently tried the baby fishes and he surely did love them too - Good times with new snack foods!! =)

I LOVE watching these two kiddos play together - Q is VERY bossy to him and he just takes it and laughs - obviously cuz he doesn't realize exactly what she's saying and doing yet =) He gets SO excited to see her and she just LOVES on him all the time - it's pretty entertaining! It is so fun to watch her "mother" him and protect him...today I was weed-eating the grass and Tytan was crying and when I turned around Q was sitting next to him tyring to get him to stop crying, letting him know it was ok, it was really precious...and other times she will take something small away from him letting him know he can't play with it cuz he might choke on it =) They are just too cute!

Tonight while I was watching Tytan in the tub...Q comes and sits on the side of the tub and starts eating some of my apple and looks at me and says "You're a good parent" I had to laugh - not sure where she learned that word (I'm guessing nursery) but who cares where she learned it - i'll take the compliment from her any day =)
I LOVE this girl - she really knows how to try my patience, pretty much every day =) But she also knows how to really make me laugh!!! Lately she has been giving me fashion advice and it's pretty dang funny - I came out of my closet dressed and ready to go and she let me know i shouldn't wear those shoes with that outfit...I laughed and then checked the mirror to make sure they did go =) AHAHAHA She is SUCH a good big sister to the Chub...and he just LIGHTS UP when she walks by - it's totally adorable!!! I'm so grateful for them both!!!!

Qwynci starts Dance

So 2 weeks ago Q started Dance...GOOD TIMES!!! The first day was pretty rough...not actually at dance but getting there...so I get ready, then I get her all dressed and ready to go and she tells me she wants to wear her high heels cuz that's what she ALWAYS wears when she dances around the house - I let her know that she can't wear her high heels to this dance place that she needs to wear ballet shoes and she has a COMPLETE meltdown!!! Threw herself on the floor took off her clothes and was just having a HUGE fit!!! This went on for about 5 or 10 minutes and I was about to just give up...then B just put her in the car and we left. Once we got there she was fine but WHOA - who knew she could throw such crazy fits...must have learned that form Aunt Autumn =) AHAHAHAHA So ya - at the dance studio she was great - all excited and happy. She didn't even care when i left the room - which I was SHOCKED about cuz every Sunday it's a MAJOR ordeal to get her into nursery...but that could be cuz there are a million crying babies in there too =) Although - that has gotten better since I bribe her with painting her toenails every Sunday - works FABULOUSLY. Anyhoo - she loved it and did great!!! She gets pretty excited during "tap" she can jump pretty dang good!! =) She's a doll - so fun to watch and SO ADORABLE!!!! Love her!
The teacher told her to stand on a blue dot and Q was pretty determined to not get off of it...if she noticed she was off - she would run back over and get right back on it - SO CUTE!CLASSIC pic of her!! =) Love it!

Tytan is sitting!

So Tytan is sitting and has been for a bout 3 weeks now...he still has a few wobbles and whatnot - but he REALLY likes to play and sit and have toys all around him - and the other day his tooth FINALLY cut threw!! HOORAH!!! Poor little guy has been in pain and so fussy - but YEAH for his tooth - more pics to come of that!! =) He still pretty much just rolls around to get what he wants...we propped him up to "teach him to crawl" the other day and he pushed off with his legs and face planted...guess we'll just let him figure that out on his own =)I think he looks like the "Munster's" Grandpa when he give this cheesy smile - SO CUTE!

Fun on the Blow Up Bed

Q LOVES the blow up bed - so whenever anyone comes and stays she gets SO excited to play on it!!! The other night she was bouncing around on it and we put Tytan on there with her and they were having too much fun!!! Brandon would throw her on it and she would tickle Tytan and he would roll off (we would catch him of course)...it was too funny, GOOD TIMES!!! =)

So basically Tytan has no hair - I mean I think he is getting more but basically he is pretty dang hairless for the most part =) The other day after his nap he had some hair sticking up and i thought it was just too dang cute!!! You'll have to look close or you'll miss it =) HOORAH for having just enough hair to have a little bedhead!!! =)

High Heal Drama

So Q is obviously obsessed with her high heals and it's pretty dang cute and funny! She currently wears two different shoes because somehow a piece broke off the back of one of them and she basically refuses to wear it while it's broken. Thank goodness she is ok with wearing two that don't match =) She is just too fun!!! =)

Ride in the Trailer

The other day we were going to take the kids for a little ride in the bike trailer over to Franny's so we got them all strapped in and propped Tytan up and had all the toys and whatnot figured out and stopped to talk to the neighbor and BAM the tire totally blew - TOTAL BUMMER!! So everything and everyone had to be taken out and we just took the car =)
It was so cute though - we were telling Q that she needed to help Tytan and take care of him and whatnot so when we put him in...she grabbed his hand and let him know it was going to be ok. She is SUCH an awesome big sister and he is so good to just go with the flow of everything!!! LOVE THESE ADORABLE KIDDOS!!!

Good Times

A few weeks ago my mom and Gma went up to the cabin so Oz and I decided it would be fun to tag along...I had no idea how hardcore they were going to be...honestly they would sew all day till like 2am then get up at 6am and start all over again doing quilts and sewing - it was good times!! =) When Oz came up she stopped at our house to give Carter a break from his car seat and him and Q played on the slide - it was TOO cute!!!

Q LOVES peaches...she will ask for them daily and pretty much eats the whole thing...and usually they are the BIG peaches - she gets pretty excited to get the "ball ball" out of the middle too!

Tytan was rolling around the floor playing with anything and everything he could find...and he rolled under this chair and was having SO MUCH FUN holding onto it - who knew it could be such a fun toy!! =)

Tytan playing with Dolls

Tytan really likes Q's dolls - it's so funny!! He will play with them for a while and Q will notice and run over and tell him "NO NO CHUBBY" and take it away - sometimes she will give him a different toy and sometimes not. It's really fun to watch his face when you hand him a doll though - he gets excited...i think mostly because the hands are good teething toys for him!!! I told B we should get him a "boy doll" he about died...apparently we will NOT be getting a boy doll!! =) AHAHAHA When Tytan gets older i'm sure he will KILL me for posting this - but it's just too cute!!

Q'isms

This girl is pretty much the cutest thing EVER and she always comes up with the funniest things to say!!!
Matt and Vicki came up and stayed and while we were all talking Q was studying Matt - which she will do to people just kinda figuring them out...and then she says "Pops, you don't have any hair" AHAHAHA it was TOO funny!! Glad she could point that out for him!!!

The other night B and I were laying by her getting her to go to bed and she was fighting it as usual...so B kept telling her to close her eyes - after a few times she rolled over and said "But I can't see anything when I close my eyes" Yes - I HAD to laugh!!! =)

Last week in church Q kept getting on the floor looking under the bench and I wasn't sure what she was looking at cuz she hadn't gotten any toys out yet so it's not like she had dropped a toy...finally I leaned over and asked what she saw under there...with a HUGE smile she said "HIGH HEALS" Yes - it's true, she is a shoe freak - and LOVES high heals!! =)

Lately Q has an imaginary "Monster" that she tells me about - it's pretty funny. She tells me he lives in Show Low, he is Blue, he is nice and she doesn't want him to scare her. Oh, and his name is Heaven. That's about all I've gotten so far - it's PRETTY DANG FUNNY!!!!

She gets pretty excited when she is telling us stuff and sometimes the words come out backwards...the other day a "face got her bug" and the "caterpillars were going to turn into futterbys"
It honestly just doesn't get any cuter than her!!!!!! =) LOVE HER SO MUCH!
