Just Playing

So B took Q out to his parents while we were in Safford and she had a great time playing outside with Gma. I guess this little bridge was a huge hit!! How cute right?
It was so funny when B got back to my parents he looked at me was like like "You are going to kill me" I thought - what the heck, what happened??? He gave me her pants and they were totally all stained from dirt and all kinds of outside stuff. It was too funny...thank heavens for Biz stain remover...works wonders!!! She loved all the Easter eggs Gma had out for her to play with

Had to take a little break for some milk =)

So the next day I sent B with some clothes that she could get dirty in. She had a good time riding the tractor with Daddy! Although - I was told that B might have enjoyed driving it around more than Q enjoyed riding =)

She is such a doll!!!

Live Burn...

B had to be in Taylor all day Saturday for the "live burn" the fire academy was doing so he said we should come on over and check it out and Chief Wood thought it would be fun to have me take pics...and it was fun!! Q was SO GOOD - honestly...she did so good for being out there forever and it was kinda smokey and all that but she seemed to really enjoy all the commotion and craziness that was happening!!! She really liked all the water bottle Uncle Franney kept giving her!!

We tried to get them to both look at the camera but I think when Franney said cheese, Q thought he might HAVE some cheese that he was going to share with her...she LOVES the stuff! =)

Just playing with little rocks she could find. She would throw them and then go pick them up to throw them again...fun game!

Franney took us on a little tour of the tower - it was really cool. They do all kinds of burn situations in it! We are on the roof of the 3rd floor =)

More Dirt

While we were fixing the gates Q was playing...IN THE DIRT - as usual! She loves it! It's so fun to watch her!! And now she gets really brave and has to see if she can step up on everything!! She would step up and down on this water thingy - and then up and down on the sidewalk...and if this freak'n blog would work correctly I could post the video...but since for some reason it won't let me - you'll just have to take my word for it!! (if anyone knows how to fix this problem, PLEASE feel free to let me know, thanx)
It's super cute how proud she gets when she can step up and down on something...ADORABLE!!!

Beanie

The other night Q wouldn't go to sleep so I was like WHATEVER - she can just do laundry with me...so I started some laundry and she grabbed B's beanie and was playing with it, and when I turned around she had it on her head...she had put it on all by herself and was taking it off and putting it back on. It was SO cute!! She is always taking necklaces and stuff and trying to put them on but she hadn't been able to master putting a beanie on...well she sure did that night and she was SO proud!!! It was adorable watching her!!! LOVE HER!

Cabin

So last Friday my parents were at the cabin and B was working so I just figured I would head over for the night and my mom and I could work on a quilt and Q could just play...Well she had a little fever Friday morning and a little rash that I'd been watching seemed to be spreading so I called the dr. office and they said I could just give her benadryl and she would pry be fine...so I went to the cabin. Well Q was a wreck pretty much the whole time - didn't want to play just wanted to be held (which means the quilt didn't get as much done on it as I would have liked) and her fever just kept getting worse! Poor thing...she was on fire - honestly she was SO HOT!!! My Dad gave her a blessing and she was able to sleep for a few hours but we were pretty much up all night...oh and in order to get her to take any medicine you have to hold her down (literally) and force her to take it...it's ridiculous and wretched!! Anyhoo - these are the only pics I took while i was there...she played with gpa while he shelled nuts for a little bit...it didn't last long - but she seemed happy for a minute!!!
So I took her to the dr. on Monday and he said it was just a virus and she would get over it and that it pry bugged me more than it did her...um, EXCUSE ME!!!! You have NO way of knowing that - obviously it bugs her cuz she scratches it every time I take her clothes off and bath time has become scratch time!! Honestly - i have never been a fan of doctors and stuff like this just makes me want to SMACK THEM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! And it's not gone, now it's just moving down her arm...poor girl!!!
On the bright side we did find out that benadryl makes her sleep for longer than normal hours so the plain ride to Jamaica should be better than I first thought...keep your fingers crossed!! =)

Keeping her happy...

So sometimes in the morning I have to get creative to keep Q happy so I can work out...this particular morning it took the entire army to keep her happy!! =)
